Start planning now for Mutt 'n Strut 2010. It's not too early to get your team formed and to start raising pledge money. Last year's Mutt 'n Strut raised over $18,000 and greatly helped to offset the increased costs of our medical supplies and utilities. We also were able to boost funds for Max's Club. We heard many good comments about last year's prizes (an overnight at Great Wolf Lodge, a pizza and bowling party, an iPod shuffle, and much much more) awarded to the top pledge winners. This year we promise more great prizes! See photos from last year's Mutt 'n' Strut!

This year we hope you'll join us, with or without a dog, for a fun-filled Mutt ‘n Strut morning of dog walks, games, contests, booths, vendors, and more — all to benefit the Lawrence Humane Society. Your participation will help provide much needed funding for the shelter, and it brings our community together for a common cause: care of the unwanted, abused, and abandoned pets in our shelter.

Team Guidelines

  • Form your team of any size.
  • Give your team a name, which you’ll enter on your pledge form.
  • Teams must raise a minimum pledge total of $250.
  • The team raising the highest pledge total will win a traveling trophy and grand prize.
  • Even if you’re on a team, you can also fill out an individual pledge form.
