Gigantic Garage Sale
for the Shelter

Friday, June 11,
and Saturday, June 12, 2010

This year's sale will be in a new location: 1040 Vermont (corner of 11th & Vermont) just north of the Capitol Federal Bank. Rain or shine, it’s all indoors! All proceeds go to help the shelter animals. No early callers, please.

Furniture: sofas, chairs, loveseats, bar stools, shelves, mattress & box springs, complete bedroom sets, antique cabinet with porcelain top, desks, dining set, much more. Sports & Recreation: golf bag, bike, life jackets, exercise equipment, & more. Tools: table saw, metal detector, tool belt, hard hat, & more. Electronics: many computer components, TVs, and more. Children: high chairs, strollers, stuffed animals, much more. Household: hundreds of things including nearly brand new dishes, old school crystal collection, pasta maker, 30-cup coffee makers, kitchen items galore, lamps, dryer, much much more. PLUS: hundreds of collectibles, art, toys, games, books, CDs, pet kennels, antiques, crafts, office supplies, Christmas stuff, baby things, lawn and garden, and so much more. This sale is enormous!

You can still donate items through Wednesday from 2:00-2:30 p.m. If you need to arrange a special drop-off appointment, please email the shelter or call the front desk (785) 843-6835. Since we have no storage available at the shelter, we ask that you please do not bring any garage sale items to the shelter, thanks!

The Lawrence Humane Society gigantic garage sale raises money for our animal care, supplies, equipment, building maintenance and many other critical expenses. It's a great opportunity to clean out your attic, basement, or garage, and help the animals at the same time!

All donated items must be complete and in good, working condition. Specifically, we would benefit greatly from donations of furniture, antiques, collectibles, art, electronics, sports & recreation items, household items, office supplies, toys, games, puzzles, videos, DVDs, tools, lawn & garden equipment and books. No clothing please!

All proceeds go the help the shelter animals. Thank you for your help!
