Mutt 'n' Strut
You do not need to have a dog or bring a dog to walk. Mutt 'n' Strut is a fund-raising event to benefit the Lawrence Humane Society. It will help raise awareness of the services that are offered by the Society for the community.
Participation in this event will help provide much needed funding for the shelter. It brings our community together for a common cause: care of the unwanted, abused, and abandoned pets in our society.
Requirements
- All dogs must be current for rabies vaccination a of the day of the event.
- All entrants must sign the waiver.
Event Information:
• Sat. May 10th, 2008
• Registration: 8-9am
• Walk starts at 9am
• Sunflower Elementary (map)
- Entrants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dogs should be leashed & under control at all times.
- Female dogs in any stage of heat are not allowed.
- Dogs should be healthy & sociable with other dogs.
- Individuals may walk with 2 dogs, provided each dog is officially entered ($30 each, $35 each after May 6) and leashed.
- Although Mutt 'n' Strut is for dogs, feel free to walk in honor of your pet and bring a photo for all to see.
